The event screenshot problem

Event flyers, schedules, and invitations sent as images are easy to screenshot and easy to forget. The date, time, and location are trapped in pixels instead of your Calendar.

How SnapAction extracts events

SnapAction classifies event screenshots into event cards that capture:

• Event title
• Date and time when visible
• Location or venue
• Notes from the flyer
• A link back to the original screenshot
• An Add to Calendar action

An event workflow

1. Screenshot the flyer, schedule, or invitation.
2. Scan it in SnapAction.
3. Review the extracted date, time, and location.
4. Tap Add to Calendar to create the event.

When event extraction works best

Event extraction works best when the screenshot shows a clear title and at least one of: date, time, or location. Screenshots with heavily stylized text, extreme cropping, or no temporal information may produce less useful cards.
